Statement
In my work, I explore materiality and the fragments of our surroundings. Shaped by my studies in textile technology and my work as a photographer, I combine the observation of light and surface with the interplay of layering and texture.
Deconstruction is at the heart of my process: abstract photographs as well as intuitive paintings on canvas are broken down into fragments and reassembled. Through sewing, gluing, and layering paper and canvas elements, I create works ranging from multifaceted collages to minimalist arrangements.
It is a process-oriented play with depth and structure, where fragments merge to form a new unity.

Statement
In meiner Arbeit untersuche ich die Materialität und die Fragmente unserer Umgebung. Geprägt durch mein Studium der Textiltechnologie und meine langjährige Arbeit als Fotografin, verbinde ich die Beobachtung von Licht und Fläche mit dem Zusammenspiel von Schichtung und Textur.
Der Kern meines Prozesses ist die Dekonstruktion: Sowohl abstrakte Fotografien als auch intuitive Malereien auf Canvas werden in Fragmente zerlegt und neu zusammengesetzt. Durch das Vernähen, Kleben und Schichten von Papier- und Leinwandelementen entstehen Arbeiten, die von vielschichtigen Collagen bis hin zu minimalistischen Anordnungen reichen.
Es ist ein prozessorientiertes Spiel mit Tiefe und Struktur, bei dem aus Fragmenten eine neue Einheit entsteht.
